How to prevent COVID - 19 ?

Which chemical is used for sanitization?

Alternative compounds that release chlorine and are used in the health-care setting include demand release chlorine dioxide, sodium dichloroisocyanurate, and chloramine-T. The advantage of these compounds over the hypochlorites is that they retain chorine longer and so exert a more prolonged bactericidal effect.

To prevent CORONA Disease we should follow Some steps, which are as follows:

Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds.
Always wash immediately after removing gloves and after contact with a person who is sick.

It's especially important to wash:
1. Before eating or preparing food
2. Before touching your face
3. After leaving a public place
4. After handling your mask
5. After caring someone sick
6. After touching animals or pets

Use Hand sanitizer:

If soap and water are not available and hands are not visibly dirty, an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol may be used. However, if hands are visibly dirty, always wash hands with soap and water.

 Use Mask When Required:

everywhere you go, you will see people using all sorts of masks that come in various shapes and colors. There are broadly two types of masks that can protect you against the possible transmission of COVID-19.

1. N95 Respirators: These are usually circular or oval in shape and capable of filtering out 95% of particles from the air.

2.Surgical masks: A surgical mask loosely covers the nose, mouth, and the chin area. It limits the expulsion of particles from the wearer into the surrounding area.

Avoid close contact:

Inside your home: Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
outside your home: Put 6 feet of distance between yourself and people who don't live in your household.
Remember that some people without symptoms may be able to spread the virus.
Keeping distance from others is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting sick

Maintain a distance of at least 3-6 feet if you step outside:

When you are required to go out of the house in this situation, make sure that you maintain a distance of at least 3-6feet between you and other people. This is because the COVID-19 virus can be spread into the air from an infected person via small droplets while coughing or sneezing. There is a very high risk of infection if you breathe this air.

Avoid Touching your Eyes, Nose, Mouth:

There are chances that you might have picked up the virus from a contaminated surface. If you frequently touch your nose, eyes, or mouth, you are accidentally transferring the virus to your body. Thus, it is advised that you avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth without thoroughly washing your hands

Always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow and do not spit.
Throw used tissue in the trash.

Cleaning:

Wear reusable or disposable gloves for routine cleaning and disinfection.
Clean surfaces using soap and water, then use disinfectant.
Wearing gloves outside of these instances (for e.g, when using the shopping cart or using an ATM) will not necessarily protect you from getting COVID-19 and may still lead to the spread of germs. The best protect yourself from germs when running errands and after going out is to regularly wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer.

Clean and Disinfect Surfaces:

1. Tables and chairs
2. Light switches
3. Doorknobs
4. Keyboards and touch screens
5. Remote controls
6. Sinks

Why Is CORONA virus prevention important?

Scientists are still studying the CORONA virus, so there's a lot they don't know about it. But the things they have learned show that COVID-19 is a serious illness. It's important to take steps to prevent the coronavirus because:
Anyone can spread the virus: Research has found that you can spread the virus even if you don't have symptoms or up to 2 days before symptoms start.
You might be able to get sick again: Your body makes things called antibodies in response to an infection. They can help protect you from making you seriously ill. But researchers don't know whether COVID-19 antibodies will protect you or for how long.

What precaution can I take when unpacking my groceries?

After unpacking your groceries, wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Wipe surfaces on which you placed groceries while unpacking them with household disinfectants.

Thoroughly rinse fruits and vegetables with water before consuming them. And wash your hands before consuming any food that you've recently brought home from the grocery store.
